Niklas Edin's team of Sebastian Kraupp (Third), Fredrik Lindberg (Second), Viktor Kjäll (Lead) and Oskar Eriksson (Alternate), will represent Sweden at this year's World Men's Curling Championship.
Under a new high performance programme in Sweden, National Coach three-time world champion Peja Lindholm selected Edin's team based on their performance over the season.
Edin has already established himself as one of the world's top curlers. He has won gold at the 2004 World Junior Curling Championships, World University Games (2009) and was European Champion in 2009.
A fourth place finish at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver and a bronze medal in the 2010 World Men's Curling Championship proves that Edin has continued to improve since his junior days.
Sweden will be looking to make the playoffs as a minimum after narrowly losing out to Thomas Ulsrud's Norway in the final of the Le Gruyère European Curling Championships in 2011.
